The Inheritance Auction (Father & Son)

Since I am an artist, this story stood out to me.
It further captures Our Inheritance Because of the Son.

-THE STORY OF A FATHER AND SON-

A wealthy man and his son loved to collect rare works of art. They had everything in their collection, from Picasso to Raphael. They would often sit together and admire the great works of art.

When the Vietnam conflict broke out, the son went to war. He was very courageous and died in battle while rescuing another soldier. The father was notified and grieved deeply for his only son.

About a month later, just before Christmas, there was a knock at the door. A young man stood at the door with a large package in his hands.

He said, "Sir, you don't know me, but I am the soldier for whom your son gave his life. He saved many lives that day, and he was carrying me to safety when a bullet struck him in the heart and he died instantly. He often talked about you, and your love for art." The young man held out this package. "I know this isn't much. I'm not really a great artist, but I think your son would have wanted you to have this."

The father opened the package. It was a portrait of his son, painted by the young man. He stared in awe at the way the soldier had captured the personality of his son in the painting. The father was so drawn to the eyes that his own eyes welled up with tears. He thanked the young man and offered to pay him for the picture. "Oh, no sir, I could never repay what your son did for me. It's a gift."

The father hung the portrait over his mantle. Every time visitors came to his home he took them to see the portrait of his son before he showed them any of the other great works he had collected.

A few years later the man died too. Since he had no heir, all his paintings were to be sold at auction. Collectors came from all around, it isn't often that such a great collection becomes available.

As the auction opened the first painting on the platform was the painting of the son. The auctioneer pounded his gavel. "We will start the bidding with this picture of the son. Who will bid for this picture?"

There was silence.

After a few moments, a voice in the back of the room shouted, "We want to see the famous paintings. Skip this one."

But the auctioneer persisted. "Will somebody bid for this painting. Who will start the bidding? $100, $200?"

Another voice angrily. "We didn't come to see this painting. We came to see the Van Goghs, the Rembrandts. Get on with the real bids!"

But still the auctioneer continued. "
The son! The son! Who'll take the son?"

Finally, a voice came from the very back of the room. It was the longtime gardener of the man and his son. "I'll give $10 for the painting." Being a poor man, it was all he could afford.

"We have $10, who will bid $20?"

"Give it to him for $10. Let's see the masters."

"$10 is the bid, won't someone bid $20?"

The crowd was becoming angry. They didn't want the picture of the son.

They wanted the more worthy investments for their collections.

The auctioneer pounded the gavel. "Going once, twice, SOLD for $10!"

A man sitting on the second row shouted, "Now let's get on with the collection!"

The auctioneer laid down his gavel. "I'm sorry, the auction is over."

"What about the paintings?"

"I am sorry. When I was called to conduct this auction, I was told of a secret stipulation in the will. I was not allowed to reveal that stipulation until this time. Only the painting of the son would be auctioned. Whoever bought that painting would inherit the entire estate, including all the paintings.

The man who took the son gets everything!"

God gave His son 2,000 years ago to die on the cross. Much like the auctioneer, His message today is: "The son, the son, who'll take the son?"

Because, you see, whoever takes the Son gets everything.

Praise / Renew / Persevere / Love

I've recently found 4 basic principles in my Christian walk. I believe these 4 principles will make you stronger.

• PRAISE: God always receives the Praise and Glory for all good things. And we should never cease Praising Him!

• RENEW: We need to constantly Renew our minds, to have them transform to His understanding, and not ours since we are influenced in the natural, but live in the supernatural.

• PERSEVERE: No matter what, Do Not Give Up! Press on! The answer is always around the corner, though we do not see it, we know it so fight/contend for what is yours!

• LOVE: The most important commandment LOVE God and Others! Nothing else matters except this, Love!

FACE to FACE with God

What does it mean to see God face of face?
Is it the same as seeing God?

John 1:18 (NIV)
No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only (JESUS), who is at the Father's (God's) side, has made Him known.

John 1:18 (NKJ)
No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

John 6:46
No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father.

Exodus 33:11
The LORD would speak to Moses FACE to FACE, as a man speaks with his friend.

Exodus 33:20-23
20. But," he said, "you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live."
21. Then the LORD said, "There is a place near me where you may stand on a rock.
22. When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by.
23. Then I will remove my hand and you will see my back; but my face must not be seen."

It is interesting to see that you can see God Face to Face yet not actually see him. I think it is more like an expression, seeing God Heart to Heart. Not the physical being, but the heart behind the individual. It is a bonding of friendship, no walls put up, but open to each others heart. (as a man speaks to his friend) Fellowship with God is the essence of why we were made.

Impartation: Gifts of the Holy Spirit

What is Impartation and why does it seem new to the church?

Impartation: is passing something down from one person to another, wether it be information or a spiritual gift.

Impartation is as old as the bible but has not been passed down like many other ways have been.
Romans 1:11 Paul talks about Impartation, but to a subtle degree we just pass on right by it. Look at it in conjunction with Acts 8:9-23 and 1 Corinthians 12

Acts 19:6
When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.

Romans 1 (NIV)
11. I long to see you so that I may IMPART to you some SPIRITUAL GIFT to make you strong—
12. that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith.

Romans 1 (KJV)
11. For I long to see you, that I may IMPART unto you some SPIRITUAL GIFT, to the end ye may be established;
12. That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

So at this time the question is WHAT ARE SPIRITUAL GIFTS?
Where does it talk about LAYING ON OF HANDS?

Acts 8: (Laying on of Hands)
14. When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them.
15. When they arrived, they prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit,
16. because the Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them; they had simply been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.
17. Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
18. When Simon saw that THE SPIRIT WAS GIVEN AT THE LAYING ON OF the apostles' HANDS, he offered them money
19. and said, "Give me also this ability so that everyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit."
20. Peter answered: "May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money!
21. You have no part or share in this ministry, because your heart is not right before God.
22. Repent of this wickedness and pray to the Lord. Perhaps he will forgive you for having such a thought in your heart.
23. For I see that you are full of bitterness and captive to sin."

SPIRITUAL GIFTS (1 Corinthians 12)
-message of wisdom
-message of knowledge
-faith
-gifts of healing
-miraculous powers
-prophecy,
-distinguishing between spirits
-different kinds of tongues
-interpretation of tongues

1 Corinthians 12:27-
Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.
And in the church God has appointed
1) apostles
2) prophets
3) teachers
4) A. workers of miracles
4) B. gifts of healing
5) those able to help others
6) gifts of administration
7) those speaking in different kinds of tongues

Are all apostles?
Are all prophets?
Are all teachers?
Do all work miracles?
Do all have gifts of healing?
Do all speak in tongues?
Do all interpret?

BUT EAGERLY DESIRE THE GREATER GIFTS.

How can we "eagerly desire" something that we can not have? We can't! BUT we can eagerly desire something that is obtainable.
I believe the better wording is All these gifts are given to those who want to receive them. Not everyone wants all or some of them, and not everyone is good at all of them. Some are better in certain areas of the Gift's, so those who are should not condemn the one who does not.

Jacob's Latter

Genesis 28:12
Jacob had a dream in which he saw a STAIRWAYS resting on the EARTH, with its top reaching to HEAVEN, and the ANGELS OF GOD were (ascending and descending) on it.

John 1:51
He then added, "I tell you the truth, you shall see HEAVEN open, and the ANGELS OF GOD (ascending and descending) on the SON OF MAN."

I heard this talked about at the School of Healing and Impartation I recently went to. The stairway that was mentioned in Genesis can now be understood as Jesus (Son of man) from John. Interesting to see how Angels are allowed to move more freely now that Jesus paved the way. What are the angels purpose on earth? for man?

Taking It By Force!

This past year I went to several seminars. Andrew Wommack, Bill Johnson & Mehesh Shavad, Elijia List (East Coast Prophetics) And this week at Rand Clark's (School for Healing & Impartation) I observed something very interesting at these conferences, in all of them, they gave away FREE books, DVD's & CDs. Every time they gave them away, they would ask everyone who wants it? Almost everyone would raise their hands, I do, I do! Then there were a few who got off their buts and came forward, and there were even fewer, that grabbed it (taking it by force). I've made mental note of this and conveyed this thought to a few friends in relation to spiritual gifts.

Well today Randy Clark was giving away a few books. Most everyone raised their hands for, he handed them out to a few who asked, some far away, some close. No one running up to ask! I wasn't interested in those books so I didn't raise my hand. Then he got to the last book of his he was giving away on "Impartation". I wanted that one! He asked who wanted that one? I raised my hand like many others. Noticed his body language was different then the others he had handed out, standing in mid stage with his hand up high, saying "Who want's this book?" So I started to move quickly to the front, noticing another women on my right moving quickly too. So I ran in front of him, putting my hand right in his face, saying I do. Noticed his stair straight ahead. He then confirmed to me what he was trying to do, by saying "If anyone really wants this book bad enough, (that's when I moved) they can have it!" So I snatched it from his hands. His point proved and example shown to others. He then started his lesson off with "Those wanting spiritual gifts bad enough, take it by force!"

Very good lead in! I felt honored in a way to be the one, taking it by force. I pray my life lives in parallel with that spiritually as well!

Take it by Force!
There is so much God wants to offer us, and He is sure to give it to those who go get it, but less likely to those who sit back. There is so much, just go get them!

Praise, Renew, Persevere, Love-

The Prodigal Son / FAT COW / Brother & Heir

There are nuggets of Gold all over, we just need to be looking to find them!

I remember the story about the prodigal son. Most remember the story because of the LOST SON THAT RETURNS.... BUT they forget about the FAT COW!

What's the Fat Cow have to do with anything? Well a Fat Cow is one who is eating good because the farmer is wealthy! This cow was killed when the son returned. The son who stayed home asked the dad, why does he get the cow at his feast? The father said to that son "This cow was always yours, you could have had it at any time." We think, that we constantly need to ASK God instead of understanding What He already gave us. In doing so we need to KNOW who we are in Christ. Our Identity! We can not achieve this by "God's ways are not our ways, nor His thoughts ours" for then we never become one with Him. Biblical research will reveal (if you are searching for them) just exactly what we have as an HEIR (as a child) of God's. I am NOT saying we deserve it! I am saying because of grace it has been given.

Think hard next time you decide to pray (ask) God for something. It may have been given to you, you just lack the knowledge of how to obtain it! So to ask for it, may not be entirely correct to do. Hmmm, that might sound a little confusing...

Example: Jesus said "All Power and Authority has been given to me and I give it to you." So what do you do when temptation comes knocking? (Pray? or Command!?) I am NOT saying for anyone to be living this way in their own Power, but in Christ's. "So let him who boasts boasts in the Lord." I am saying we are heirs of Christ, so we have already been given a certain amount.

Just a thought-
If we do not know what we have, we have little, we live as peasants!
If we do know what we have been given, we have much, and live ask Kings!

"The Shack"

I heard a lot of talk about a good book everyone was reading. I've heard all that before, so I wasn't interested in it. BUT when a good friend of mine actually explained it to me, I was really interested in it. I couldn't wait until he was done reading it to get the book, and I couldn't read it fast enough either I thought, so I bought the audio book. It took me about 3 days (while at work) to listen to it with the little distractions between the day. It's about 9 hours long. Anyway enough of that, let me get to the book.

This book is fictional, but I believe this book is anointed in so many ways. There is a personal inner healing that takes place inside your soul, it is very emotional, and goes to your core. You get to think How God views things. You get a glimps of the trinity. And at the end you feel freed!

OK, I am going to talk about the inside of the book, so if you don't want to know, don't read any further.

The book is about a man named Mack who from his childhood leaves home early because of an abusive drunk father. Then moves to a point in his life with his 3 children. He takes them camping (without his wife) and during the camping trip, 2 of his oldest kids are in the canoe and it flips, one pops up the other is under. He rushes to save him. In all the comotion, his youngest daughter is kidnapped by a serial killer. Long story short, they never find the body, but they find her blood in the shack in the way back woods. Fast forward to his present day (about 5 years later), where he has a few more kids, and he and his family have struggled through the last several years over that incident. His wife has a great relationship with God (she calls God PaPa) but Mack struggles. He blames God for his daughters death.

One winter day, he goes to the mailbox to get the mail. There is a letter in there that says, meet me at the Shack, signed PaPa. He is not sure what to make of this... Is this the killer? Is his wife cheating on him? Is this some kind of sick joke? Is this from God? Not sure what to believe, he decides to tell his best friend, and he goes up for the weekend. Once he's up there, emotions fly, God shows up in trinity form, and they all work on him during that entire weekend. Mack gets some alone time with each one. So many wounds and mindsets that get healed in Mack, and forgiveness that follows frees him from the hurt that he's been carrying around all these years. There is a lot of laughing going on, and there is a lot of crying too. Very emotional book!

One part I will go into detail, is that when Mack spends time with Jesus, they go for a walk. They reach the lake and Jesus says we're going to walk on water. Mack says won't my feet get wet? Jesus said sure, it's water! Mack gets to the edge of the water and then he decides to take a step. And it works, he's on top of the water, shoes soaked, but he's on top! He turns around to see Jesus sitting down on the side taking off his sandals, then Mack laughs, gets off the water and takes off his soaked shoes and socks too.

The ending is truly a secret so I will not give that away.

It is one of those books that when you are done, you will want to share it with others too!

There are many "God Thoughts" in this book, and some that mess with yours/others "theology" The trinity described in this book is what I have envisioned it to be. There are some who say they are all the same, but I do not think that to be the case, for many biblical reasons, but for the best reason is this. The book of Revelations shows Jesus and God as separate beings. Jesus (the lamb) takes the scroll from God who sits on the throne. (Rev 5:7) However when Jesus was on earth, there is a union (acting in one accord) of all three. (Read my post on the Trinity if you'd like)

I recomend this book to all. For many reasons, but the biggest is that it brings light to the way we view God. GOD IS LOVE! It shows us the Heart of God in a real and understandable way. We blame God for so many things and it wasn't even Him who did it. Here's a quote from the book "Just because God can work incredible good out of unspeakable tragedies, doesn't mean God orchestrates the tragedies. Don't ever assume that when God uses something, He caused it." "God doesn't purpose something bad in your life, but that doesn't mean He can't use it for His Glory!"

Man’s wisdom/God's foolishness

- Destructive Philosophy 101!
"GOD'S WAYS ARE NOT OUR WAYS, NOR ARE OUR THOUGHTS HIS"
or
"THE FOOLISHNESS OF GOS IS WISER THAN MAN'S WISDOM"

"For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength." (1 Corinthians 1:18-31) Sadly this is a saying (a snippet of scripture) that has made its way into the lives of Christian's as a "Philosophy" and a way of life. Christians tend to believe this all to well, and that is NOT what God's word says about it to us. I literaly cringe each time I hear that from the pulpit and others! IF I hear that one more time, I'm going to hurl. Every time I hear it, it is used out of context. (Wo is me, I am not supposed to know what God knows) What the!!! That mindset lets all Christians off the hook! Why try? It must be God we are fighting against! This is an Old Testament mindset. God did not reveal himself to them (everyone) then (except for a few), until Jesus came. (Because of the atonement) Do you not know God's ways by seeing and hearing His Son Jesus? He made His ways known to us, further more there are tons of verses that state this. If you understand here what the "Foolishness and Wisdom" Paul is talking about here, you will understand it is of non-believers. This verse has been misinterpreted and misunderstood. Verse 22 & 23 points it out quite clearly who this is referring to. (The people of this world-those without Christ, those searching for Wisdom & Power)

What is shown in the Life of Jesus?
What about Prophesy?
What about "Whoever lacks wisdom let him ask God who gives generously"?
Who are you as an heir to the King?

Now, I understand there is a depth to God the we can not fathom, I am not talking about that. I am talking about the clearity to His word that He shows us through Jesus and beyond that (His depths) through the Holy Spirit. He also states He will show us His ways. The real issue is man does not want to do, they want to blame. This is evident from Adam in the garden when he blamed God for giving him Eve, after they ate of the fruit.

Further more the bible also states God is Reliable! If He tells you to do something He would NOT be Unreliable. He would be Faithful to His word. Yes, you all agree? Then why can you not accept it when Jesus gives the command, "Go out, heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepor"... Oh because our prayers seem answered! Well let's see what happened in Daniel's life (Reference-Bill Johnson/Book of Daniel) when He prayed the first time and his prayer was answered in 3 minutes, then the next time took 3 weeks... Asking WHY is the beginning of Knowledge. That's why 3 year olds go around asking Why Why
Why. They learn! See the second time took longer cause, there was a demonic hinderance that kept the prayer from getting to Daniel. However we can see that as soon as he started praying the prayer was answered, it just hadn't gotten to him yet. So we can see there are other reasons, other then (God's Will or Our Faith) why prayer is not effective immediately. It's not always OUR fault, but if we do not persevere, then we have lost.

BUT we see it is in Christ that by revelation He shows us His Wisdom. And when we become joined with him, we know His ways, and our ways become His. We can walk in His thoughts, for it is by His revelation they are given.

This verse (1 Corinthians 1:18-31) is talking to 2 groups of people. Unbelievers & Believers
To the unbelievers, they do NOT know God's wisdom/His ways! verse 22-
("Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom")
To the believers We KNOW Christ, and God's Holy Spirit, and God's Will THROUGH His son Jesus.

Just to keep it simple, this verse goes back and forth describing Believers and Unbelievers.
SO BE SURE NEXT TIME you use that phrase "GOD'S WAYS ARE NOT OUR WAYS, NOR ARE OUR THOUGHTS HIS" or that verse "THE FOOLISHNESS OF GOS IS WISER THAN MAN'S WISDOM, AND THE WEAKNESS OF GOD IS STRONGER THAN MAN'S STRENGTH"

Your NEW Philosophy, what you really should be saying is, "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord." ANYTHING is possible THROUGH JESUS CHRIST! Be Bold, Be Confident, Praise God!!

Mark 4:10-12
10. When he was alone, the Twelve and the others around him asked him about the parables.
11. He told them, "The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables
12. so that, "they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!"
----
1 Corinthians 1:18-31 (Christ the Wisdom and Power of God)
18. For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
19. For it is written: (Isaiah 29:14) "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate."
20. Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
21. For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know Him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.
22. Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom,
23. but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles,
24. but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
25. FOR THE FOOLISHNESS OF GOS IS WISER THAN MAN'S WISDOM, AND THE WEAKNESS OF GOD IS STRONGER THAN MAN'S STRENGTH.
26. Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth.
27. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
28. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, 29. so that no one may boast before him.
30. It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us WISDOM from God—that is, our RIGHTEOUSNESS, HOLINESS and REDEMPTION.
31. Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."
----
(NOW THAT IS FUNNY, the verse right after that says we DO (as Christian's) have the Mind of Christ. We KNOW God's thoughts.)
----
1 Corinthians 2:6-16 (Wisdom From the Spirit)
6. We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.
7. No, we speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began.
8. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
9. However, as it is written:
"No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love Him"—
10. but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.
THE SPIRIT SEARCHES ALL THINGS, EVEN THE DEEP THINGS OF GOD.
11. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
12. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us.
13. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.
14. The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15. The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment:
16. "For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?" BUT WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST.
----
Isaiah 55:8
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD.
----
Ephesians 3:8-12
Although I am less than the least of all God's people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to MAKE PLAIN TO EVERYONE the administration of this MYSTERY, WHICH FOR AGES PAST WAS KEPT HIDDEN IN GOD, who created all things. His intent was that NOW, through the church, THE MANIFOLD WISDOM OF GOD should be MADE KNOWN to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. In Him and through Faith in Him we may approach God with FREEDOM and CONFIDENCE.

Read these verses below to go deeper in understanding of MYSTERIES OF GOD MADE KNOWN TO US

Romans 12:2
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the
renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what GOD'S WILL is—His
good, pleasing and perfect will.
----
John 15:15
15. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not KNOW his master's business.
Instead, I have called you FRIENDS, for EVERYTHING that I learned from my Father I HAVE
MADE KNOWN TO YOU.
----
Mark 3:35 "Whoever does GOD'S WILL is my brother and sister and mother."
----
Colossians 1: 25-27
25. I have become its servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the WORD
of GOD in its FULLNESS— 26. the MYSTERY that has been kept hidden for ages and
generations, but is NOW disclosed to the saints (to us). 27. To them God has chosen to
make KNOWN among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this MYSTERY, which is Christ in
you, the hope of glory.
----
Ephesians 1: 3-10
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who HAS blessed us in the
heavenly realms with EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSING in Christ. 4. For he chose us in him
before the creation of the world to be HOLY and BLAMELESS in his sight. In love 5He
predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his
pleasure and WILL— 6. to the praise of his glorious grace, which HE HAS freely GIVEN US in
the One he loves. 7. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins,
in accordance with the riches of God's grace 8. that he lavished on us with ALL WISDOM
and UNDERSTANDING. 9. And he made known to us the MYSTERY of his WILL according to
his good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ, 10. to be put into effect when the times
will have reached their fulfillment—to bring all things in Heaven and on Earth together
under one head, even Christ.
----
Ephesians 3: 2-13
2. Surely you have heard about the administration of God's grace that was Given To Me for
you, 3. that is, the MYSTERY MADE KNOWN to ME by revelation, as I have already written
briefly. 4. In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery
of Christ, 5. which was not made known to men in other generations as it has now been
revealed by the Spirit to God's holy apostles and prophets. 6. This mystery is that through
the gospel the Gentiles are HEIRS together with Israel, members together of one body, and
sharers together in the PROMISE in Christ Jesus.
7. I became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God's grace given me through the
working of his power. 8Although I am less than the least of all God's people, this GRACE
was given ME: to preach to the Gentiles the UNSEARCHABLE RICHES of Christ, 9. and to
make plain to everyone the administration of this MYSTERY, which for ages past was kept
hidden in God, who created all things. 10. His intent was that now, through the church,
the MANIFOLD WISDOM of God should be made KNOW to the RULES and AUTHORITY in the
heavenly realms, 11. according to His eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ
Jesus our Lord. 12. IN HIM AND THROUGH FAITH IN HIM we may approach God with
FREEDOM AND CONFIDENCE.
----
John 17: 20"My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me
through their message, 21. that all of them may be one, Father, just as YOU are in ME and
I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
22. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that THEY MAY BE ONE as we are one:
23. I IN THEM and you in me. May they be brought to COMPLETE UNITY to let the world
know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. 24. "Father, I
want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory
you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. 25. "Righteous
Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have
sent me. 26. I HAVE MADE KNOW TO THEM, and will CONTINUE to make you KNOW in
order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them."

John 16: 15
All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is
mine and MAKE IT KNOWN TO YOU.
----
1 Corinthians 2: 6-16 (Wisdom From the Spirit)
We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but NOT the wisdom of
this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7. No, we speak of God's
SECRET WISDOM, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for OUR glory
before time began. 8. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they
would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9However, as it is written:
"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has PREPARED for
those who LOVE him"—
10. BUT GOD HAS REVEALED IT TO US BY HIS SPIRIT. THE SPIRIT SEARCHES ALL THINGS,
EVEN THE DEEP THINGS OF GOD. 11. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man
except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God
except the Spirit of God. 12. We have not received the spirit of the world BUT the Spirit
who is from God, that we MAY UNDERSTAND what God HAS FREELY GIVEN US. 13. This is
what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the
Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. 14The man without the Spirit does not
accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he
cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15The spiritual man
makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man's judgment:
16"For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him? "But we have the
mind of Christ.

Colossians 1: 9-
For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you
and asking God to FILL you with the KNOWLEDGE of HIS WILL through ALL spiritual wisdom
and understanding. 10And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord
and may please him in EVERYWAY: bearing fruit in every good work, GROWING in the
knowledge of God, 11being strengthened with ALL POWER according to his glorious might
so that YOU may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully 12giving thanks to the
Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of
light. 13For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the
kingdom of the Son he loves, 14in whom we have redemption

1 Thessalonians 5:
16. Be JOYFUL always;
17. PRAY continually;
18. GIVE THANKS in all circumstances, for this is GOD'S WILL for you in Christ Jesus.
----
John 15: 14
You are my friends if you do what I command. 15I no longer call you servants, because a
servant does not KNOW his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for
everything that I learned from my Father I HAVE made KNOWN to YOU. 16You did not
choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and BEAR FRUIT—fruit that will last.
Then the Father WILL GIVE you WHATEVER you ask in my name.

Matthew 10: 8
HEAL THE SICK, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely
you have received, freely give.

IMITATE

1 John 2:3-6
3. We know that we have come to know Him if we obey His commands.
4. The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what He commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5. But if anyone obeys His word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in Him:
6. WHOEVER CLAIMS TO LIVE IN HIM MUST WALK AS JESUS DID.

3 John 1:11
Dear friend, do not IMITATE what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.
----
Hebrews 13:7
Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and IMITATE their faith.
----
Hebrews 6:12
We do not want you to become lazy, but to IMITATE those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
----
Philippians 2:13
for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to His good purpose.
